SAN DIEGO – February 2, 2006 – The International Society for Clinical Densitometry (ISCD), the world’s leading organization in the field of bone densitometry, will honor three for their contributions as instructors in 2006.

“I am very honored to receive this award from ISCD,” said Caudill. “I strive to be the best I can be and teach my students and colleagues with the tools that I have gained on my on and with the help and resources ISCD has opened up for me.”

VFA Instructor of the Year Award - Neil C. Binkley, MD, CCD, of the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin. Binkley achieved the highest aggregate ratings for an instructor in the ISCD’s Vertebral Fracture Assessment Course.

Clinician Instructor of the Year Award - Kathryn M. Diemer, MD, CCD, of Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis, Missouri.  Diemer achieved the highest aggregate ratings for an instructor in the ISCD’s Clinician Bone Densitometry Course.

“I always enjoy teaching the ISCD courses because of the quality of the faculty - really some of the best teachers/lecturers I have even had the pleasure to listen to - so, to be recognized within such an outstanding group is truly an honor,” said Diemer. “I learn something from my fellow faculty members at every course - both the clinicians and the technical faculty.”
