Facility Accreditation Program

 



The ISCD Accreditation Program is a dynamic, practice-based assessment of components within a facility that specializes in skeletal assessment.  The program assesses compliance with criteria found in the program's Statement on Essential Elements.  These Essential Elements, developed and updated by the ISCD Facility Accreditation Council, must be evident in all submissions from facilities applying for accreditation.  Definitions, clarifications and demonstrations of compliance with these Essential Elements will be included within all applications and available online.

 

Pilot Phase Update
The ISCD Commission on the Accreditation of Skeletal Assessment Facilities (CASAF) is actively working on evaluation and refinement of the pilot phase of the ISCD Facility Accreditation Program to allow for a smooth launch of the full program. The possible date for the launch will be announced in 2009.
