ISCD Education Courses and Certification Exams

Upcoming ISCD Courses and Certification Exams

The ISCD offers three different courses appropriate for clinicians, technologists, scientists, researchers, and healthcare providers who wish to learn more about bone densitometry. They are the Clinician Bone Densitometry Course (open to MDs, PhDs, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants), Technologist Bone Densitometry Course (open to Technologists and Allied Health Professionals who have completed 100 central DXA scans) and the Vertebral Fracture Assessment Course (open to clinicians, technologists, scientists, researchers, and healthcare providers who wish to learn more about vertebral fracture assessment and its use).

Additionally, ISCD offers a Clinician Certification Exam and a Technologist Certification Exam. Both exams cover the body of knowledge contained in the respective Bone Densitometry Course. There is no certification exam on any body of knowledge relating to vertebral fracture assessment.
