Thank you to all attendees, exhibitors and sponsors of the ISCD 2005 Annual Meeting for making it a successful event.  Nearly 700 participants ushered in our 11th Annual Meeting February 16-19th in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA.  

Congratulations to this year's award winners and honorees.  Widely praised was the addition of the case-based workshops and the online education evaluator.  The case-based workshops focused on real-life scenarios in a smaller learning environment with leaders in the densitometry profession. 

The online education evaluator is a new reporting system for our CME/CE credit reporting and session evaluations. This will make it easy for participants to provide feedback on our educational sessions and process their own CME/CE certificate.  Pre-registered attendees received their username and password via e-mail prior to the meeting.  Submit an e-mail to iscd@iscd.org if you lost that information.   The evaluator will be available online until March 31, 2005. 

All the general sessions and the Merck symposium were recorded by ISCD and will be available on CD in six to eight weeks.  Check back to the Annual Meeting page of the Web site for more information as it is available.

The ISCD Education Committee debuted a new course in New Orleans which was held prior to the ISCD Annual Meeting.  This new course, Vertebral Fracture Assessment (VFA), was attended by over 300 clinicians and technologists.  A schedule of future VFA courses will be posted on the Upcoming Courses page in upcoming weeks.
