Regional PanelsAn ISCD Regional Panel (“Panel”) is defined as a group of bone densitometry experts in a specific region who will oversee the activities of the ISCD in their respective region. The mandate of the Panel is to address the mission of the ISCD and work towards achieving the goals and objectives of the ISCD in their respective region. A region may be a country or a group of countries. A Panel is a component of the ISCD and subject solely to the authority of the ISCD. Requirements for Establishing a Regional Panel There must be a minimum of 25 ISCD members in the region represented by the Panel. The formation of a Panel must be approved by a majority vote of the ISCD Board of Directors.
Regional Information Each Panel has provided ISCD with regional information to post online. Click on the Panel name in the list below to access that region's Web page. Materials include, translations of ISCD documents (such as the Official Positions) and Web site pages into regional languages, regional modifications of the Official Positions and other common practices, local events listings, Panel contacts list and more.
