Membership dues statements are mailed each September for the following year.  Your timely payment means you won't miss a beat when it comes to discounted rates at our Bone Densitometry Courses and Annual Meeting as well as the informative SCAN® Newsletter and the Journal of Clinical Densitometry and other ISCD member benefits.

As a member convenience, we've reprinted below some commonly asked questions and answers regarding payment procedures and billing classifications. If you have any other questions, call membership services at 860.259.1000 (Ext. 100).


What period does my dues payment cover?
The ISCD's fiscal year is January 1st through December 31st .  Dues are not prorated if joining mid-year.


Are my ISCD annual dues tax deductible?
Dues to the ISCD are not deductible as a charitable contribution but may be deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense.

When should I pay my annual dues?
Dues should be paid as soon as possible to continue receiving membership benefits without interruption. If unpaid after 60 days, a member will be dropped and member benefits will be suspended. If paying by credit card you can renew online. 

What are the options for Technologist, Associate and Retired membership?
There are three levels of membership available for these categories:  $65, $95, $110.   Make your choice depending on the publications you would like to receive.  Click here for more details on membership categories.

How do I submit a new address and/or e-mail?
Submit your updates using the online form in the membership directory, Members Online.


Let's say at this time I no longer wish to remain a member. Can I just ignore the statement?
We request that you "actively resign" by sending in a letter of resignation with your invoice within 60 days of the first billing or .


What form of payment does the Society accept?
You can pay your dues with a personal check, business check, MasterCard, Visa or American Express. No other charge cards are accepted. for wire transfer information.


When I call the ISCD I get an automated response. How do I get my question answered?
