SCAN^® Newsletter

As a member of ISCD, you will receive SCAN^®, the official ISCD newsletter, which contains a wealth of information about clinical densitometry and the International Society for Clincial Densitometry.

The focus of SCAN^® is on Society news, bone mass measurement(s), including epidemiology of bone mass, how drugs and diseases alter bone mass, new techniques and quality assurance in bone mass imaging technologies, and bone mass health/economics.

SCAN^® is technology neutral. It does what other peer-reviewed journals do, presenting opinions, editorials and reviews. Even though the emphasis of SCAN^® is clinical and practical, it also welcomes scientific articles, especially if they compliment and add to the knowledge of bone mass measurements.

SCAN^® is an opportunity for us all to present our randomized or observational studies, clinical reviews, and performance standards, in order to expand our knowledge. If you are interested in submitting an article for SCAN^®, contact Sue Alexander (860.259.1000 ext. 103).
