What time period does my dues payment cover?

The ISCD membership term is twelve (12) months from the date that your application is processed. The date you join/pay for your membership becomes your “anniversary date,” and is the date your annual dues will be due in subsequent years.

How do I renew my membership?

To renew your dues, log into your online ISCD account at the MEMBER LOGIN page. Under the Memberships header, you will find your expiration date to the far right. Click on the “renew membership” link and follow the prompts to checkout and complete your transaction.

How do I access the Journal of Clinical Densitometry?

Login to the ISCD.org website from the red login button on the top of any page of the website and select JCD Online from the right, Member Benefits/Profile navigation menu.

How do I access my online benefits when I do not know my member number?

If you have forgotten your user information or password click here to have instruction on retrieving it sent to your email address.

My company paid my membership. What happens if I leave my job?

ISCD membership is individual, so your membership follows you. Please make sure to keep your contact information current, especially when changing jobs or addresses. Log in to your account to make changes.

Can I submit an application to join ISCD online?

Yes- you may apply to ISCD online or Downloadable applications for faxing and mailing in our office at 955 South Main Street, Bldg C, Middletown, CT 06457-5153.

As a new member, when will I receive my ISCD membership card?

Your ISCD membership card is generally received in the mail 2-3 weeks after your application has been submitted. The card is sent to the primary address listed on your application. Renewing members do not receive a membership card each year.

If my membership has lapsed, how can I reactivate it?

Generally, if your membership term has lapsed, you may reinstate it by renewing your membership online or contacting ISCD at 860-259-1000 to pay your dues. If the lapse has been longer than three months, you must reapply to the Society.

How do I know if ISCD received my renewal payment?

You can log onto the member section of the website through the red login button on the top banner of the ISCD.org website. Your payment should be reflected within 3 business days of receipt and you will receive a confirmation email.

How do I update my personal and contact information with ISCD?

You can log onto the member section of the website through the red login button on the top banner of the ISCD.org website and click on “Edit Contact Information & Address” from the right side page navigation.

Does ISCD offer a discount when I retire?

For Current individual members who are no longer receiving monies from medical or ancillary work within the medical community, including consulting and working for an industry partner, ISCD offers a discounted Retired Member level of membership. Retired members receive many of the same benefits, but with a few restrictions on board service.

Can I obtain a refund for an unused portion of my membership dues?

No, membership dues are not refundable.

Can I deduct the cost of membership from my taxes?

Dues to the ISCD are not deductible as a charitable contribution but may be deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense. Consult your tax advisor for details.
