ISCD Member Benefits and ISCD Education Courses
Becoming an ISCD member entitles you to discounted fees for all ISCD education programs, the ISCD Annual Meeting and publications such as the ISCD quarterly newsletter – SCAN and the Journal of Clinical Densitometry.

If you are not already a member, the ISCD invites you to join the premier international organization in the field of bone densitometry. Become a member of the ISCD today.

ISCD membership is January 1 to December 31 and dues are not pro-rated.

ISCD Education Courses and Certification Exam fee schedules and important registration information follows.  After you have reviewed the information, click on the link at the bottom of the page to continue with online registration.

BONE DENSITOMETRY COURSE (BDC) AND CERTIFICATION EXAM FEES

Note that due to time and meeting space limitations, the Clinician or Technologist Bone Densitometry Course and Vertebral Fracture Assessment course held at the same location overlap each other. Therefore, if you plan to attend both, you miss part of one of the courses.

The ISCD Certification Exam is offered at each Bone Densitometry Course location (taking the course is optional).  Remote testing is also available. 

If you did not pass the Certification Exam and wish to retake the course and/or exam, contact the ISCD for special rates.

VERTEBRAL FRACTURE ASSESSMENT (VFA) COURSE FEES

Note that due to time and meeting space limitations, the Clinician or Technologist Bone Densitometry Course and Vertebral Fracture Assessment course held at the same location will overlap each other. Therefore, if you plan to attend both, you will miss part of one of the courses.

PEDIATRIC BONE DENSITOMETRY (Pedi BDC) COURSE FEES
Note that due to time and meeting space limitations, the Clinician or Technologist Bone Densitometry Course and Pediatric Bone Densitometry course held at the same location may overlap each other. Therefore, if you plan to attend both, you may miss part of one of the courses.

BODY COMPOSITION COURSE FEES
Note that the VFA course will be held at the same time therefore, attendance at both will not be possible.

Confirmations
Confirmations of course registration will be e-mailed, faxed or mailed within 10 business days of receipt. Your confirmation will verify program details and payment. Contact the ISCD office if you have not received written confirmation at least seven (7) days prior to the course date. Note: Courses are subject to cancellation and fees may apply. See Cancellation section below.

Cancellation/Refund/No Show/Transfer Policy
All requests must be in writing. Cancellations received 30 days before of the course date will be processed less a $25 fee. Those received between 29 and 7 days before the course date will be processed less a $75 fee. Transfer requests require a $25 fee. Cancellations/Transfers received within six (6) days of the course date, cannot be granted. No refund will be issued. Refunds will not be issued to no-shows.

ISCD Cancellations of Programs
ISCD reserves the right to cancel the program, or to change dates or meeting locations. Every effort is made to maintain the program as originally promoted. If a program is cancelled, all program fees will be automatically fully refunded unless the registered participant indicates a desire to transfer to another program. The registered participant will be notified of changes by ISCD directly by mail, phone or e-mail based on the information submitted on the registration form.

Travel Disclaimer/Cancellations
ISCD does not assume responsibility for travel or hotel expenses. Travel cancellations are subject to the terms and fees applicable to the agreements made with the hotel, airline or other vendor at the time of booking. ISCD recommends that travel arrangements be made no sooner than 30 days prior to the program date.
