ISCD Dual Membership Opportunity

ISCD announces a dual membership opportunity for international societies interested in furthering the advancement of excellence in skeletal assessment. This new membership model allows healthcare professionals committed to Bone Densitometry to receive ISCD membership at attractive and affordable rates. The plan includes a responsibility of local organizations to assist in membership administration, develop educational and other materials as well as local advocacy programs.

Several advantages of this membership model include:

• Societies can create their own dues structure for members to offset any local costs.
• Societies offering dual membership can devise systems such as reduced charges for ISCD course registration to members.
• Societies will encourage membership and will gain additional ongoing revenues for the local organization.
• Societies will maintain closer contact with ISCD, permitting successful collaborations and strengthening both the Society and ISCD at the same time.

The agreement includes two options for dual membership. The fee structure is based upon the level of responsibility the Society maintains with regards to the administrative duties associated with ISCD membership. Options to consider include whether an organization would prefer to have ISCD handle more of the administrative duties and offer members separate Technologist and Clinician rates, or whether an organization would be responsible for most of the administrative duties and offer lowest possible membership rates.
