ISCD DXA Machine Cross Calibration Tool

The ISCD DXA Machine Cross Calibration Tool is designed for those who purchase a new DXA machine and need to cross calibrate the numbers.  As referenced in the ISCD 2005 Official Positions this tool will calculate the average BMD relationship and least significant change between the initial and new machine.  This tool is made available online to ISCD members through an agreement with The Regents of the University of California who are the developers and copyright holders of the software.  Individuals must agree they will not distribute the tool to any third party prior to accessing it.

All technical questions about this tool should be submitted to with a Subject line of ISCD Cross Calibration Tool.  ISCD Staff will forward appropriate questions on to the developers and corresponding responses to the question initiators as available.  Every effort will be made to respond within 3-5 business days.

The SOFTWARE is only available to current ISCD Members.  The intended use of the SOFTWARE is to cross-calibrate DXA bone densitometry scans between different DXA systems.  The sole means of access to the SOFTWARE is through the Members Only section of the ISCD Web site for the intended purpose described above. The SOFTWARE may not be distributed to third parties.
