Clinical Osteoporosis 2017 Recap

In April, ISCD co-hosted Clinical Osteoporosis 2017 with the National Osteoporosis Foundation. The event welcomed nearly 500 clinicians, researchers, technologists, nurses and others with an interest in improving quality in skeletal health assessments and treatments.

In addition to the educational sessions offered at the symposium, there were numerous networking opportunities for attendees to connect with friends and colleagues, along with chances to learn about new products and services from the many exhibitors on display. ISCD held its annual business meeting and awards where new President John Carey assumed office. The evening prior, outgoing President John Shepherd hosted a special volunteer appreciation reception for members in attendance who have supported the organization throughout the past year.

“The ISCD is a beacon of excellence to people all over the world whose mission is promoting quality densitometry.”
-John C. Carey, President ISCD, President’s Address

Below are a few images of the month’s activities. We hope you to see you all next February at the ISCD Annual Meeting in Boston.
